            For CBT and Direct Access

     Our Pass Rate speaks for itself.                                                                                                     All of our Compulsory Basic Training will take place at an off road area on the outskirts of Shildon , which also allows us access to a classroom within the Community Centre.  Our Chief Instructor is  fully qualified and approved by the Driving Standards Agency to conduct CBT and Direct Access training. The CBT is taken on a   125cc machine and   Direct Access training is a fast track to a full licence for those over 21. It starts with CBT, then the theory test must be taken. This is followed by as much tuition as you require to meet the standard (average is 8 to 10 hours) on a Kawasaki ER-5  and ends with the Test. This gains you a full licence from the outset and you have no restriction on which machine you can ride.

The restricted licence means that the test is taken on a 125cc machine and then for the next two years you may only ride a motorcycle with no more than 33 bhp.

TT Motorcycle Training offers a range of training programmes from Compulsory Basic Training and Direct Access, through to     Advanced training for the more experienced rider,  plus Return to Riding , Basic Road craft, Motorway Riding and Confidence Building for those of a nervous disposition!!

       Advanced Training is our Specialty

          Member of the Institute of Advanced Motorcyclists

   Where are we?

Situated on the A6072 between Darlington and Bishop Auckland in the Northeast of England.. An ideal location for training as the Lake District, Northumberland and the North Yorkshire moors are within easy reach and they provide some of the best riding roads in the country. Arrange a rendezvous anywhere in the North of England and we come to you.

CBT and DAS are the basic starting points for new riders. Passing one of these courses means that you have reached the minimum level required to ride unaccompanied on the road. If you wish to improve your riding beyond this level, our Instructors will take you through a range of on and off road exercises to ensure that you gain the maximum benefit from your training.

              This will cover everything you need ;

Return to Riding ; Refresher training for "Born Again Bikers". The guys who last rode a Triumph Bonneville and now own a Blade!

 Confidence Building  ; Too many people don't understand the capability of the machine that they choose to ride. We will take you through a series of exercises that will be done at your own pace which will improve your confidence in your bikes ability and, more importantly, in your own.

 Basic Road craft ; All the things you read about in the magazines that aren't particularly well explained. We will cover all aspects of riding , to include observation, positioning, accelerating, braking, and includes everyone's "favourite"~

Cornering ; We will take you through some of the finest roads in the North of England( still at your pace ) and cover all aspects of cornering , including approach, positioning, throttle control, counter-steering, vanishing points etc. (We can also show you how to "get your knee down" if you really, absolutely just have to!!)

 These courses can be tailored specifically to your individual needs and concentrate on one aspect of your riding if this is your wish, (but only after a short assessment to ensure that the rest of your riding is up to scratch.)

We are not trying to discover the next Carl Fogarty and we are not a race school, but if you are a road rider ( and 99% of us are ) and you are looking to improve your riding in general or in specific areas, then give us a ring because we WILL be able to help you .

We offer a full range of services
